Inventory taken Sept. 9, 1708, by Samuel Benedick, Isreall Curtiss and John Gregory, and filed Dec. 29, 1706, page 148.

Dec. 29, 1708, Samuel, a son of decedent, made choice of his brother Jacob to be his guardian, who was also appointed guardian of his brother Jonas, another son of decedent; Elizabeth a daughter of decedent, made choice of her mother Mary Weed, to be her guardian, page 148a.

Feb. 6, 1710/1, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Richard Barnum and Israell Curtiss, both of Danbury, to his widow and children, no names, page 148a.


WELLS, John, late of Stratford, will dated Mch. 21, 1712/13, probated Apl. 22, 1713, mentioned his wife Mary, and children Thomas, John, Robert, Joseph, Mary, Sarah, Comfort, Elizabeth, and Hannah, Executors sons John and Robert.
