Jan. 5, 1714/15, Joseph and Elizabeth Watkins, children of decedent, made choice of Richard Hubbell of Stratford to be their guardian, and the court appointed David Watkins guardian of Benjamin and Ephraim, other children of decedent; and Johanna, a daughter of decedent, made choice of her father in law Jessie Lambert to be her guardian, page 372.


WEB, Joshua, late of Bedford, Feb. 16, 1699, letters of administration on his estate granted to John Cop and Zachariah Roberts, page 57.

Inventory taken Mch. 1693/4, by Zachariah Roberts and Jonathan Pettit, mentioned that his widow Elizabeth was new Elizabeth Simkins, and children Richard, Eben, John, and Susannah, page 57.

Feb. 5, 1713/14, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Captain Joseph bishop and Steven Bishop to his widow and children, one son and two daughters, no names, page 205a.


WEED, Jonas, late of Stamford, Mch. 15, 1704/5, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Bethyah Weed and sons James and Benjamin, page 68a.

Inventory taken Jan. 10, 1704/5, by Samuel Hait, Jonas Weed, Sr., and Elisha Holly, mentioned his widow Bethyah, and children Jonas, Benjamin, Jonathan, five months short of age, and Abegaile, ae. about 10 yrs, and filed Mch. 15, 1704/5, page 68.

Mch. 15, 1704/5, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Joseph Bishop, and Daniel Scofield to his widow and children as aforesaid, page 68a.


WEED, Jonas, late of Stamford, son of John Weed, died Nov. 26, 1706, and on Jan. 28, 1706/7, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Mary Weed and Samuel Weed, pages 112 and 394.(continued on page 229).
