SHERWOOD, Jabus, late of Greenwich, will dated Oct. 7, 1704, probated Nov. 3, 1704, devised all his property at Greenwich to Jonathan Husted and his wife; bequested all his carpenter tools to Jonathan Jessup, a son of Edward Jessup of Fairfield, and bequeathed a parcel nails that are at my brother Nathaniel of Rye, forgave debt of his sister in law Elizabeth Sherwood of Rye, to brother Nathaniel a steer at Rye, to brother Stephen Sherwood of Rye my Gun, to my sister Ruth Merritt and Mary wife of Jonathan Husted legacies. No executor. Witnesses Thomas Marshall and Thomas Mathews, page 44.

Nov. 3, 1704, letters of administration with the will annexed granted to Steven Sherwood, Jonathan Husted and John Pettit, and Isaac Sherwood, Sr., of Fairfield went on bond, page 44.
