SERIVENER, (SCRIBENER), Benjamin, late of Danbury, but belonging to Norwalk, Dec. 6, 1704, letters of administration on his estate granted to his son Thomas Serivener, page 46.

Inventory taken Oct. 15, 1704, by Thomas Semar and Samuel Hays, mentioned his widow Hannah, and children Thomas, ae. 24 yrs next Mch; Benjamin, ae. 22 yrs Next May; John, ae. 20 yrs next June; Joseph, ae. 12 yrs next Sept; Hannah, ae. 17 yrs Next July; Ruth, ae. 15 yrs next Mch; Lidia, ae. 7 yrs this Dec.14; Elizabeth, ae. 5 yrs next July; and Abegaile, ae. 3 yrs next June; and filed Dec. 6, 1704, page 46 and 50.

Apl. 15, 1704, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Joseph Plat and Sergeant John Raimond to his widow and children aforesaid, page 46.

Apl. 15, 1706, John and Hannah, children of decedent, made choice of Thomas Seribner to be their guardian; Ruth, a daughter of decedent, made choice of Benjamin Scribner to be her guardian; and the court appointed Thomas Scribner and Benjamin Scribner guardian of Joseph, Lidia, Elizabeth, and Abegail, other children of decedent, page 46.


SEELY, John, late of Stratfield, will dated Feb. 4, 1709/10, probated Apl. 18. 1710, mentioned his wife Rebeckah, and children John, devised the right testator is to have of brother Nathaniel Seely's heirs, Joseph, David, Mary Durin, Ann Beardsley, Sarah, Rebeckah, Hannah, Abigaile, Ruth, Elizabeth, and Martha.

Executors his wife Rebeckah with assistance of Lieut. James Bennet and brother Sergeant Ezekiell Sanford. Witnesses James Bennet, Captain Samuel Squire, and Ezekiell Sanford, page 163.

Inventory taken Apl. 10, 1710, by James Bennitt, Benjamin Sherman, and Samuel Hubbell, and filed Apl. 18, 1710, page 162.

May 4, 1710, the following statement recorded giving the names and ages of his children:
