BARLEY, George, (continued from page 140), Thomas Hawley, mentioned his widow Mary and five children, all minors: and the court appointed Samuel French to be guardian of John, Elizabeth, and Hannah, children of decedent: Thomas Hawley to be guardian of George and Mary, other children of decedent, and filed Jan. 27, 1705, page 83.

Feb. 3, 1713/14. Lieut. Samuel Hubbell, administrator now deceased, and John, a son of decedent, appointed in his place, page 376.


BARLOW, John, Lieut., late of Fairfield, will dated July 13, 1710, probated Apl. 6, 1715, mentioned his wife Ruth, and children John, Samuel, Joseph, Francis, Abigail, Ann, Sarah and Deborah, no executor. Witnesses Peter Burr and John Darling, page 306.

Apl. 6, 1715, letters of administration to his widow Ruth Barlow, page 306.

Jan. 15, 1717, Francis, a son of decedent, made choice of his mother, Ruth Barlow, to be his guardian, page 364.

Jan. 22, 1717/18, estate distributed by Gideon Allen and Samuel Barlow to his sons John, Samuel Joseph, and Francis, and to his widow Ruth Barlow, page 342.


BARNUM, Thomas, late of Danbury, Mch. 15, 1715, his widow, Sarah Barnum of Stratford, acknowledged the receipt from the heirs of deceased of her share in full in accordance with the agreement made before marriage. Witnesses Ambrose Thompson and John Thompson, page 81.


BARTRAM, Joseph, late of Fairfield, June 25, 1716, letters of administration on his estate granted to his father John Bartram, page 364.
