WHEELER, Joseph, (continued from page 134), Inventory taken May 29, 1698, by James Benit and Samuel Morehouse, had property at Stratford, at Concord, and at Cohansey, mentioned that Ephraim, a son of decedent was born the latter end of July, 1698, and filed Nov. 1, 1698, page 174.


WHEELER, Moses, Sr., late of Stratford, will dated Feb. 19, 1689/90, probated Apl. 9, 1698, mentioned all children are married and have portions as per instrument of Jan. 20, 1688, page 5. reverse, viz: wife, and children Samuel, Moses, Merriam and Mary, legacies to the wife of his son Moses, to Elizabeth the wife of his son Samuel, and to Isreal Chauncey. overseers Isreal Chaunecy and Joseph Hawley. Witnesses James Clarke and Sarah Chauncey, page 170.

Apl. 9, 1698, letters of administration on his estate granted to his sons Samuel and Moses, page 171.

Inventory taken Mch. 1, 1697/8, by Samuel Galpin and Ambros Thompson, and filed Apl 9, 1698, page 170.


WHEELER, Samuel, late of Stratford, will dated Nov. 30, 1698, probated Apl. 17, 1699, mentioned his wife Elizabeth, who was given a deed of gift Nov. 25, 1698, and mentioned the possibility of her going to her native land, and brother Moses Wheeler. Executrix his wife. Overseers Isreal Chauncey, Richard Blacklach, and Joseph curtis. Witnesses Moses Wheeler and Benjamin Duning, page 194.

Inventory taken Mch. 29, 1698/9, by James Judson, Benjamin curtis and John Coe, and filed Apl. 17, 1699, page 194.


WHELPLEY, Joseph, late of Fairfield, Nov. 29, 1694, Sarah Whelpley of Fairfield, a daughter of decedent, released her uncle John Bulkley and her cousen William Hill, administrators of her father's, Joseph Whelpley, and her mother's, Rebecka Whelpley, estates. Witnesses Daniel Frost, and Eliphalet Hill, Page 227.


WHELPLEY, Rebecka, widow of Joseph Whelpley, late of Fairfield, Nov. 24, 1690, letters of administration on her estate granted to John Bulkley and William Hill, who are to manage estate for the benefit of the children, page 19a..
