WARD, Samuel, Sergeant, late of Fairfield, Jan. 16, 1692, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Hannah Ward and son Edman Ward, page 77.

Inventory taken Jan. 8, 1692, by James Beers, John Osborn and Eliphalet Hill, mentioned his widow Hannah Ward, formerly the widow of Jonathan Nicoles, of Stratford, and son Edman, and filed Jan. 16, 1691, page 77.

Mch. 29, 1692/3, account filed, and estate ordered distributed to his widow Hannah Ward, and children. The widow ordered to bring up children of her former husband Jonathan Nicoles, no names, page 84.

Nov. 7, 1693, the court appointed Nathaniel Burr and Eliphalet Hill overseers of the children of decedent, six sons and some daughters, and to act with the administrators, page 84.

Apl. 12, 1694, Edman Ward removed out of this colleny, page 84.


WARE, Jacob, late of Stratford, July 12, 1694, letters of administration on his estate granted to Samuel Sherman of Stratford on the refusal of Richard Blacklach to qualify, page 125.

Inventory taken May 29, 1694, of property in the custody of Robert Basit and Samuel Judson, by Samuel Sherman and Robert Lane, and filed June 7, 1694, page 125.


WEED, Daniel, late of Stamford, died Nov. 29, 1697, and on Apl. 26, 1698, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow, and Jonas Weed, page 150b.
