NICOLES, Ephraim, Ensign, (continued from page 118), May 31, 1693, Joseph Lockwood, Eliphalet Hill and Esther Hill acknowledged the receipt of L 30 from Isack Nicholes of Stratford, father of deceased, in part payment of a bond of Sept. 25, 1692. Witnesses John Bulkley and Samuel Adam, page 232.

NICOLS, Isack, late of Stratford, soap boiler, will dated Sept. 28, 1694, probated Nov. 5, 1695, mentioned his wife Margaret, and children Benjamin, Sarah, Burret, children of son Ephraim, daughters Patience, Temperance, Elizabeth Web, and Margarit, children Isack, a deceased son, and children of Jonathan, a deceased son, and children of daughter Mary Chancey. Executors his wife and son Benjamin, assisted by Isreal Chancy and Richard Blacklach. Witnesses Robert Mekune and Robert Walker, page 128.

Inventory taken Sept. 17, 1695, by James Judson, John Welles and Josiah curtis, and filed Nov. 5, 1695, page 129.

Aug. 15, 1695, Margrit Nichols, a daughter of testator, received her portion. Witnesses Joseph Curtis and Richard Blacklash, page 129.

NICOLS, Jonathan, late of Stratford, Sept. 23, 1691, account filed by his widow, and estate ordered distributed to his widow and children, two sons and one daughter, no names, page 64.

NICOLS, Josiah, of Stratford, Mch. 16, 1690/1, deed of gift to his brother Benjamin Nicoles of Stratford, and to his cousin Jonathan Nicoles and, a son of his brother Jonathan Nicoles, deceased, of Stratford, of land "I bought of my uncle Caleb Nicoles", and wife Hannah. Witnesses Joseph Curtis and James Clarke, Sr., The above Josiah Nicoles was deceased in 1696, page 221.

OGDEN, John, Oct, 27, 1690, made choice of Sergeant Samuel Ward to be his guardian, page 12.

OGDEN, Mary, late of Fairfield, widow of Richard Ogden, Oct 27, 1690, letters of administration on her estate granted to Sergeant Samuel Ward, page 12.

OGDEN, Richard, late of Fairfield, Oct 27, 1690, his widow Mary Ogden, administratrix, being now deceased, the court appointed Sergeant Samuel Ward and Joseph L. Bastard to finish the administration, page 12.
