NICKOLS, Samuel, late of Woodbury, Dec 2, 1691, letters of administration on his estate granted to Samuel Cassell, now husband of Susanna, the widow of deceased, Overseers Zachariah Walker and John Sherman, page 65.

Inventory taken Aug. 11, 1691, by John Minor, Isreal Curtis, Samuel Stiles and John Sherman, mentioned his widow Susanna, formerly the widow of Thomas Fairchild, and son Josiah, ae. 4 yrs July 25, last and filed Dec. 2, 1691, page 65.

Mch. 14, 1708, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Ambrose Tomson and John Beach, both of Stratford, to the widow and son aforesaid, page 65.

NICHOLAS, Caleb, Sr., late of Woodbury, will dated June 14, 1690, probated Jan. 28, 1690/1, mentioned his wife Ann, also called Hanna, (possibly a daughter of Andrew Ward), and children Samuel, John, Caleb, Abraham, Mary, Anna, and Pheby, grandson Josiah Nicoles, a son of Samuel, sons in law Hosen Wheeler, John Prentis, and William Martin. Overseers Zachariah Walker, Captain John Minor, and John Sherman. Witnesses John Dole and John Williams, page 57.

Jan. 28, 1690/1, the widow and her son Abraham appointed administrators, page 57.
