Dart was the father of her child - (being a male), which she

The testimony of William Lothrop of about sixty-nine years of
age, & Joseph Lothrop of sixty-seven years of age - and both of the
town of Norwich in the colony of Connecticut, in New England, saith
that Samuel Lothrop of Wallingford in the County of New Haven &
Colony aforesaid, was the first born child and eldest of our
brother John Lothrop and his wife Ruth, who for some time after
they married did live in New London in said Colony, and there was
born their first born son, and to our certain knowledge they called
his name Samuel; after some time our said brother removed to live
at the said Wallingford and there died - but we have known his said
son by the name of Samuel and none other. Norwich, Nov. 8- 1728.
