I've located some incidental material regarding the various pastorates of the church, including the author of the book I've been using.  He was pastor from 1887-1902.  It's located at

http://pages.cthome.net/firstchurchnl/history.htm

It's nice to have additional documentation of our ancestors for our files but please remember that these postings are only a copy of a copy of the original records.  Although I've attempted to do careful proofreading, I can not swear to the complete accuracy of the baptismal transcription.  As  always, it's preferable to see the original records.  And if that's not possible, one should check S. Leroy Blake's book.  Blake made every effort to maintain the spelling of the original records, and I've endeavored to do the same in transcribing his information.  David Hoffman.
