Posting Documents
to the New London County CTGenWeb Project

You'll find some good ideas on this page.    You may have some great ideas of your own!

If you have actual documents to contribute, such as Wills, Deeds, Bible Records, Obituaries, Published Biographies, historic letters,  historic stories of your family, cemetery transcription, etc., please send them as plain text documents,  or  copy and paste them directly to an e-mail message.   Unfortunately, transcriptions in Excel are  difficult for me to easily copy and paste to an .html document, so if possible, please keep it very simple in plain text.  No color, no bold  or fancy fonts, no tables.  That way,  I'll be able to get your project formatted and uploaded quickly for other researchers to enjoy. Thanks!!!

Your document will be uploaded as soon as possible, usually within a week of the time it was received.  I host several USGenWeb county sites, as well as the CTGenWeb state page.  If I am tied up with other projects, I will let you know when you may expect your material to be posted.

Thank you for your contributions to the New London County CTGenWeb.   In the future, if there is a change in web server or county coordinators, the data shall remain part of the USGenWeb Project which is dedicated to free access to genealogy on the internet.

If you have transcriptions of actual records, such as wills, obituaries, vital records, historic letters, biographies, stories, old photographs, etc., that you previously posted on another site or message board,  I encourage you to copy it to the New London County CTGenWeb Project.  Please let me know if you'd like to do that. Be sure to enter New London County  in your subject line, as I host other USGenWeb county sites.  Pat Sabin
