  2b:505-506 To All people unto whome these presents shall come I Nathaniell Park
  of Shelter island in the county of Suffolk in the province of New York, coopper
  send Greeting Know yea that I the sd Nathaniell Park for and in the
  consideration of one yoake of oxen to me in hand delivered before the sign-
  ing and sealeing hereof, by Abraham Corey of southhold upon long island in
  the county and province affore said coopper. Wherewith I do acknowledge
  my selfe to be fully satisfied contented and payd and thereof and of every
  part thereof I the sd Nathaniell Park do by these presents aquitt exonerate &
  discharge him the sd Abraham Corey his heirs executors administrators &
  every of them for ever I have therefore and by these presents do fully freely
  and absolutely Give grant bargaine sell Alienate enfeofe pass over confirme
  & deliver from me the sd Park and from my heirs unto the sd Abraham Corey
  and to his heirs & assignes for ever all that my fifteen acres of Land that I
  have lying & being within the Township of Norwich in the county of New
  london in the colony of conecticutt in New England, and is there lying & be-
  ing on the south side of the mouth of shoutuckitt River and is bounded
  by sd River Northerly and abutting on the great river westerly and abutting
  on a ledge of rocks, easterly and abutting on the commons southwardly. I the sd
  Nathaniell Park for and in the consideration affore sd have bargained and
  sold as afore sd with all the appurtenances and priviledges thereunto be-
  longing and all my right title and interest of and unto the sd bargained pre-
  mises and every part thereof.
  To have and to hold all the fifteen acres of land aforesaid be the
  same more or less abutted and bounded as afore sd with all and sing-
  uler the appurtenances and priviledges thereunto belonging from me the sd
  Nathaniell Park and from my heirs unto the sd Abraham Corey and to his
  heirs and assignes for ever, and the sd Nathaniell Park for himselfe his heirs
  executors administrators doth convenant Grant and agree to and with the sd
  Abraham Corey his heirs and assignes by these presents in maner following
  (that is to say) that on the day of the date hereof he the sd Nathaniell Park
  is the true and lawfull owner of the sd land and bargained premises by
  these presents mentioned to be bargained and sold and that he will defend
  this sale against all just claims whatsoever and that the sd Abraham Corey
  by force and vertue of these presents himselfe his heirs executors administra-
  tors or assignes shall & may from time to time and all all times after the
  date of these presents peaceablly & Quietly have hold use occupy possess and
  injoye all and every part of the above bargained premises with the appurte-
  nances to the only proper use benefitt and behoofe of the sd Abraham Co-
  rey his heirs and assignes for ever.
  In Witness and for confirmation whereof I the above Named
  Nathaniell Park have hereunto sett my hand and seale this 4th day
  of July annoqu one Thousand seven hundred and two.

  2b:621-622 To all Christian people to whome this deed of sale shall come
  Comfort Davis of Groton in the colony of conecticut sendeth Greeting
  Know yea yt ye sd Comfort Davis for & in Consideration of
  the sum of thirteen pounds currant money of & from Nathaniel Park
  of the sd town & colony paid him by order from Robert Geer of sd
  Town & colony & on his account The receipt whereof the sd Comfort
  Davis doth hereby acknowledge and thereupon aquitt & discharge the sd
  Robert Geer his heirs & assignes for ever have given granted bargained
  & sold alienated enfeofed & confirmed & by these presents the sd Com-
  fort davis doth for himselfe his heirs executors administrators fully free-
  ly & absolutely give grant Bargaine sell alienate infeofe & confirm unto
  the sd Robert Geer his heirs & assignes forever a certaine tract & par-
  cell of land containing by estimation fifteen acres be the same more or
  less, Cittuate in the Township of Norwich in sd colony at ye mouth
  of Shoutuckitt Riber on ye east side of the sd River & is bounded by
  sd river Northerly & on a ledge of rocks easterly on the commons souther-
  ly The which was granted to Abraham Corey. Together with all ye
  profitts commodities priviledges & appurtenances to ye same belonging or
  in any wise appertaining.
  To have & to hold butted & bound as above sd together with all
  Ye other bargained premises unto the sd Robert Geer his heirs or assig-
  nes or to ye only proper use benefit or behoofe of ye sd Robert Geer his heirs
  & assignes forever and the sd Comfort Davis his heirs executors admin-
  istrators doth hereby convenant promise grant to & with the sd Robert Geer
  his heirs & assignes as follows to say yt he ye sd Comfort Davis at ye
  ensealing hereof is ye true sole and lawfull owner of the bargained premises & hath full power in himselfe to sell &
  assure the same unto ye
  sd Robert Geer his heirs & assignes for ever, as a good absolute estate
  of Inheritance in fee simple without any manner of condition or limitation
  whatsover so as to change defeat or make void the same and ye sd Rob-
  bert Geer his heirs & assigns shall & may by force & vertue hereof from time
  to time & att all times hereafter for ever lawfully peaceably & Quietly have
  hold possess use & injoye ye same free & cleare & clerely aquitted &
  discharged from all other or former gifts grants sales leases Mortga-
  ges Dowers Judgements executions entailement & from all other ti-
  tle troubles & Incumberances whatsoever had made or done by ye
  sd Comfort Davis or his assignes at any time or times before ye
  ensealing hereof.
  And further the sd Comfort Davis his heirs executors admin-
  istrators shall & will from time to time & at all times hereafter for-
  ever Warrant & defend the sd Bargained premises with their appurtenances unto ye sd Robert Geer his heirs &
  assignes against all persons whatso-
  ever lawfully claiming the same or any part Thereof
  In Testimony hereof the sd Comfort Davis hath set to his
  hand & seale this 18th of Augst in ye eleventh yeare of her Majesties Rei-

  2b:636-637 To all people to whome these presents shall come Jonathan
  Tracy of Preston in the county of New london & colony of conecticutt
  sendeth Greeting know yea yt I ye sd Jonathan Tracy with the
  concent of Mary my wife for good causes, but more especially for a
  valluable sum to me in hand well & truly paid by Isaac Clark of
  norwich in the county & colony above sd the receipt whereof I do ack-
  knowledge and my selfe therewith fully satisfied & contented & paid
  thereof & every part & parcel thereof I the sd Jonathan Tracy do by
  these presents aquitt exonerate & discharge the sd Isaac Clerk his heirs
  executors or assignes forever, have fully freely & absolutely given granted
  bargained & sold alienated enfeofed & confirmed from me my heirs
  executors and assignes for ever, unto the sd Isaac Clerk his heirs
  executors and assignes for ever a certain Tract or parcel of land as it
  is butted & bounded to me, cittuated and being in the Township of Nor-
  wich Joining to the sawmill as may appeare by record in estimation
  seven acres of upland and also my part of the meadow on the east side
  of the upland which meadow my brother my brother Thomas Tracy
  bought together of Greenfield Larebie of Norwich & is to be equally divided
  between us, I the sd Jonathan Tracy for & in consideration aforesd have
  bargained & sold as aforesd the above mentioned land with all the appur-
  tenances & priviledges thereunto belonging every part & parcel thereof---
  to have & to hold possess & injoye I the sd Jonathan Tracy do
  by these presents covenant grant & Ingage for my heirs executors & assignes
  to & with Isaac Clark his heirs executors & assignes in Manner & form fol-
  lowing (That is to say that on the day of the date hereof I am the true
  & lawfull owner of the land mentioned and sold and have full power
  & lawfull authority in my own right to bargaine sell assure & make over
  all & every part & parcel of the above bargained premises unto the sd Isaac
  Clark his heirs executors and assignes forever and also yt if sd Land &
  bargained premises are free & cleare and freely aquitted & discharged of &
  from all former gifts grants bargains sales leases Jointers Intails Intang-
  lements & Incumberances whatsoever and I the sd Jonathan Tracy do by
  these presents bind my selfe my heirs executors & assignes to defend the
  above bargained presents against all maner of person or persons what-
  sover lawfully claiming the same.
  In witness whereof we have sett to our hands & affixed our
  seales this the Twenty nineth day of Novembr one Thousand seven hun-

  2b:778-779 To all people to whome these presents shall come Jonathan Tracy
  of Preston in ye county of new London in ye Colony of Conecticutt in New
  england sendeth Greeting
  Know ye yt I Jonathan Tracy for good causes & sufficient rea-
  sons me thereunto & more especially for & in ye Consideration of ye natural
  love good will & fatherly affection yt I have & beare to my truly & natural
  &well beloved sons Christopher Tracy & Francis Tracy of Norwich & county &
  colony above sd whereunto I am fully satisfied & Contented, I do there-
  fore aquit exonerate & Discharge them ye sd Christopher Tracy and Francis
  Tracy their heirs executors administrators & assignes for ever by these presents
  I have Therefore Given Granted alienated enfeofed & confirmed unto my two
  sons Christor. & Francis & to their heirs & assignes forever with ye consent of
  my Wife Marey Tracy all my land both upland swamp & meadow land at
  teabaquamsque in ye Crotch of the River both ye intervale & ye hill within ye
  bounds of Norwich. I ye sd Jonathan Tracy with ye Consent of Marey my
  Wife for & Consideration as fore sd have given granted all ye above mentioned
  Land unto my well beloved sons Christor. Tracy & Francis Tracy as their
  Portion of my estate which is already Divided between them & Cristopher
  hath sold his part of sd land to Roger Heskall of Norwich I say I ye sd
  Jonathan do by these presents Do give grant & make over all ye above men-
  tioned land as it is abutted & bounded, unto me as may appeare by Rec-
  ord with all ye priviledges & appurtenances thereunto belonging as trees tim-
  ber wood underwood stones mines minerals waters & water courses unto
  my two sons Christor & Francis their heirs & assignes forever.
  To have & to hold possess & Injoye to their only proper use ben-
  efit & behoofe with all the priviledges & appurtenances thereunto belonging
  and I ye sd Jonathan Tracy for my selfe, my heirs executors & assignes do
  covenant Grant promise & agree to & with my sd sons Christor. Tracy and
  Francis Tracy their heirs & assignes in Manner & forme following (that
  is to say) that on ye day of ye date hereof: I ye sd Jonathan Tracy am
  ye true & lawfull buyar of ye abovesd land & stand lawfully seized to
  my own proper use in a good & perfect estate of Inheritance in fee simple
  of & in ye premises above mentioned to be given & granted without any man-
  ner of condition Revertion or Limitation & yt I have of my selfe good
  right full power & lawfull authority to give grant & dispose thereof & yt
  ye given and granted premises are free & cleare & freely & clearely aquitted &
  discharged all manner of other & former gifts grants bargains sales leases
  mortgages, assignments, Dowers, entales Judgements executions extents
  & from all othe Incumberances whatsoever.
  & furthermore I ye sd Jonathan Tracy do Covenant grant & agree
  to Warrant & defend the within given & granted premises & every part &
  parcell thereof against all lawfull claims & demands of any other of
  my heirs & against any other person or persons whatsoever laying claime thereto
  In witness thereof we Jonathan Tracy & Marey Tracy have sett
  to our hands & fixed our seales this ye Twenty nineth day of November
  one Thousand seven hundred & eleven
