Former Sexton and Wife Observe 60th Anniversary


Mr. And Mrs. Frank Grondzik of 34 Williams St. observed their 60th wedding anniversary recently at a family dinner given by their son Joseph at 76 Thames St.

The Grondziks were married Nov. 16, 1909 at St. Stanislawa Church in Meriden by the Rev. John Cepa.

Mrs. Grondzik is the former Miss Mary Janusz.

They have five children, Joseph F. Grondzik of New London, Edward Grondzik of Hartford, Stanley and Walter Grondzik of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Lucy Milewski of New London.

Another son, John Grondzik died in 1968.

There are 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mr. Grondzik retired in 1955. He was sexton for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
