BIRDSEY, Abel, late of Statford, will dated May 12, 1747, probated June 9, 1747, mentioned his wife Mercy, and children Abel, Samuel, William, John, Elizabeth wife of Benjamin Curtiss, Johanah wife of Ephraim Wadkens, Phebe, wife of Abimel Youngs, Comfort wife of John Wells, Sarah wife of Ephraim Lewiss, Mary wife of John Yarrenton, and heirs of Unice Youngs, legacy to Ruth wife of James Dunlap, and devise to Episcopal Church of England in Stratford. BOUTTON, Joseph, Sr., late of Norwalk, will dated Dec. 20, 1746, probated Feb. 23, 1746/7, mentioned his wife Mary, and children Sarah Hanford, Dinah Benedick, Jaien Benedick, brother Edmond warring, brother Thomas Boutton, and grandson Joseph Boutton. Executor his son in law John Benedick. Witnesses Robart Silliman, Caleb Benedict, and Abraham Hayt, page 390.
