LUCAS, Augustus, late of Fairfield, inventory taken Dec. 9, 1737, by Gideon Allen and Andrew Burr, verified by Henry caner, administrator, and filed Jan. 20, 1737/8, page 415.

LYON,
Richard, late of Fairfield, Mch. 10, 1723/4, William Odell of Fairfield, who married one of the granddaughters of decedent, advised the court that the commonage belongs to said decedent had not been disposed of, and asked for distribution thereof, and distribution ordered to his children Moses, Richard, Samuel, William, Joseph, Hannah, Esther, Elizabeth, and Abigail, six of whom are now deceased, Viz: Moses, William, Joseph, Esther, Elizabeth, and Abigail, Moses left no heirs; there being children of William, Viz: Nathaniel, now deceased, his children to have part, other children of William are William and Benjamin; there are two sons of Joseph, Viz: Joseph and David, the latter deceased, his part to his children; there being said Esther, Viz: Joseph Perry, and the children of Esther who married Daniel Burr, Jr., and Mary who Married John Downs, and there being Samuel Grummon a representative of his mother Esther; there being children of Elizabeth, Viz: Benjaman Banks, and Joseph Banks and Elizabeth the late wife of Samuel Daviss, she being deceased her children shall be considered in the distribution; and there being also the wife of William Odell who was the only daughter of Abigail, who shall have her mother's part.
