HAWLEY, Deborah, late of Stratford, widow of Captain John Halley, will mentioned her children Henry Hawley, Nathan Hawley, and Joseph Hawley, son in law Daniel Porter, legacies to Ephraim Judson, Joseph Judson, Nathan Judson, Henry Judson, Rebecca wife of Stiles Curtiss, and Hannah Judson, the children of my son in law Captain Joseph Judson by his wife Hannah, my deceased daughter, daughter Mary Reed, son in law John Read of Reading, owned land in Stratford and Woodbury. Executors her son Joseph Hawley and son in law John Read. Witnesses John Thompson, Mary Judson, and Catherine Hawley, page 504.

HAWLEY, Gideon, late of Stratford, will dated Feb. 3, 1730/1, probated Mch. 1, 1730/1, mentioned his sons James, Zachariah, and Gideon, daughters Sarah, Abiah and Ann, minors, eldest son James, legacies to John Luff and Abiah Bennett. Executors his son James and brother Daniel Hawley. Witnesses Joseph Booth, John Wheeler, and Elizabeth Masters, page 254.

HAWLEY, John, Captain, late of Stratford, will dated Mch. 16, 1727/8 , probated Jan. 6, 1729/30, mentioned his wife ___, and children Hannah, Mary, Henry, John, Nathan, Joseph, and children of deceased daughter Deborah, no names, grandson John Porter, a son of Sarah, a deceased daughter, whose grandfather was John Porter, owned land in Durham, Haddam, Stratford, and Newtown. Executors his wife ___, and sons Henry and John. Witnesses John Porter, Daniel Hawley, Obediah Beardslee, and Oliver Hawley, page 209.
