Feb. 9, 1740/50, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Joseph Plat, Joseph Betts, and Nehemiah Mead, all of Norwalk, to his widow, her part, and children Elijah, Nathan, and Abigail, page 396.
Aug. 1, 1749, Abigail Raymond, a daughter of decedent, made choice of Captain John Raymond of Norwalk to be her guardian, page 387.

READ, Eleazer, late of Norwalk, Oct. 5, 1725, John Read, son of John Read, Jr., guardian of Moses Read, a son of decedent, is now deceased, and the court appointed his uncle Thomas Read of Norwalk to be guardian of said Moses Read, page 2.

Sept. 2, 1749, distribution agreement dated, between John Read of Fairfield, William Read of Boston, Nathaniel Hunn of Fairfield, and Ruth his wife, Joseph Miller of Wilton and Abigail is wife, Charles Morris of Hoppinton and Mary his wife, and Deborah Wellstead of Boston, widow, which said John, William, Ruth, Abigail, Mary, and Deborah are children and heirs of deceased; Ruth read also signed.
