BEARD, Samuel, Jr., late of Stratford, will dated June 13, 1753, redated Feb. 2, 1754, probated June 18, 1754, mentioned his wife Sarah, cousin, Beard Davis, a son of my sister Elizabeth Davis, Cousins Samuel Beard, a son of my brother George Beard, Cousins Samuel Beard, a son of my brother Nathan Beard, and Samuel Woodward, a son of my sister Abigail Woodward, Cousin Sarah Garlick, a daughter of my brother Nathan Beard. Executors my wife Sarah and my brother James Beard. Witnesses Samuel Beardslee, Deborah Bennit, Ann Beard, Joseph Wooster, Hudiah Shilton, and Joseph Tomlinson, page 39. BEARDSLEE, David, late of Stratford, Apl. 21, 1753, distributed of that part of his estate set off to his widow for dower, by Nathaniel Sherman, Peter Pixle, and Theophilus Nicholos, to Benjamin Beardslee in his own right and in right of several heirs, whose rights he promised, to Samuel Beardslee, to Abigail wife of James Fairchild, to Ann wife of (Continued on page 249.)
