SHELTON, John, late of Stratford, inventory of property at Farmington taken June 1, 1748, by Giles Hooker and Nathaniel Lewiss, of property at Coram by James Beard and Nathan Smith, Jr., and of property at Stratford by Daniel Porter and Agur Tomlinson, verified by Joseph Shelton, administrator, and filed Apl. 4, 1749, page 3.

SHERMAN, David, Captain, late of Stratford, inventory taken in Jan. 1753, by Joseph Booth and Samuel Odell, verified by Captain Theophilus Nickolls, administrator, and filed Feb. 6, 1753, page 549.

SHERMAN, David, Lieut., Late of Stratfield, will dated Sept. 7, 1750, probated Aug. 4, 1752, mentioned his wife Sarah, and children Hannah wife of Solomon Burton, Sarah wife of Nehemiah Edwards, Mary Sherman, Elnathan, oldest son, and David, Youngest son, and brother Jonathan Sherman. Executor William Burr. Witnesses Lothrop Lewis, David Burr, Jr., and Sarah Burr. William Burr refused to qualify and letters to said Elnathan Sherman and Deacon Joseph Booth, both of Stratford, page 361. Inventory taken Nov. 27, 1752, by Theophilus Nickolls, Samuel Odell and Hezekiah Treadwell, and filed Dec. 5, 1752, page 363.
