HAWLEY, Obediah, late of Stratford, June 18, 1751, letters of administration on his estate granted to Samuel Adams and Sarah Hawley, both of Stratford, page 183. Inventory taken Aug. 16, 1751, by Jeremiah French and Daniel Hide of Property in Stratford, Aug. 1, 1751, by Timothy Hinman and Benjamin Stiles of property in Woodbury, Aug. 2, 1751, by Samuel Canfield and John Hitchcock of Property in New Milford, and filed Aug. 22, 1751, page 248. Oct, 3, 1752, the court appointed Samuel Adams and Captain Daniel Hide, both of Stratford, to assist his widow, Sarah Hawley, as she is guardian of her children, in the distribution of said estate, page 306.
