COMSTOCK, Samuel, Captain, late of Norwalk, will dated Aug. 26, 1743, probated Feb. 6, 1753, mentioned his wife, no name, and children Nathan, Daniel, David, Lidea, Sarah Betts, and Mary Trowbridge, legacy to Nehemiah Mead. COPLY, Samuel, late of Norwalk, Jan. 25, 1753, letters of administration on his estate granted to Samuel Coply of Norwalk, page 339. Inventory taken Mch. 13, 1753, by Isaac Gregory and Joseph Platt, and filed Apl. 3, 1753, page 475.


COPP, John, Dr., late of Norwalk, will dated Oct. 12, 1749, probated June 4, 1751, mentioned his son in law Samuel Belden, legacies to Rev. James Dickinson, cousin John Copp of New London, Kinswomen Sarah Copp of New London, Ruth wife of John Seamour of Norwalk, First Society of Norwalk for the support of the Gospel, cousin Jonathan Copp of Stonnington, what I received from the estate of John Belden, late of Norwalk, by the marriage of his widow, I give to my wife's children and grandchildren, viz: John Belden, Samuel Belden, and the children of Justus Bush, no names, freed his two negro slaves Jack and Sarah. Executors Samuel Fitch and Isaac Hayes, both of Norwalk. Witnesses Joseph Lockwood, Jonathan Fairchild and Joseph Lockwood, Jr., page 241.
