TREDWELL, Ruth, late of Stratfield, widow of Samuel Tredwell, Sr., will dated Jan. 19, 1718, probated Feb. 10, 1719, mentioned her sons Edward Tredwell, and Timothy Tredwell; the daughters of John Tredwell, a deceased son; the daughters of Ephraim Tredwell, a deceased son; the daughters of her said son Edward Tredwell; and the daughters of her said son Timothy Tredwell. Executor her son Edward Tredwell. Witnesses John Wheeler, Jersha Sealy, and Johanna Gregory, page 40. Inventory taken Feb. 13, 1723, by David Sherman and John Wheeler, page 203.

TREDWELL, Samuel, Sr., late of Stratfield, May 6, 1718, letters of administration on his estate granted to his son Edward Tredwell, page 28. Inventory taken Oct 21, 1718, by David Sherman and John Hall, and filed Feb. 12, 1719, page 28. Feb. 12, 1819, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Captain David Sherman and Doctor John Wheeler to Edward Tredwell, as executor of the will of his deceased mother, Ruth Tredwell, late of Stratfield, 1/3, and the remainder to the children and grandchildren of deceased, no names, page 29.

TREDWELL, Samuel, Jr., late of Stratfield, will dated Feb. 2, 1716/7, probated Mch. 25, 1717, mentioned his wife Martha, and children David, Zachariah, Martha, Abia, Robert, Stephen, and Josiah, and brothers John Tredwell and Edward Tredwell. Executrix his wife Martha. Witnesses Jonathan Morehouse, Rev. Samuel Cook, Alexander Fairchild, and Nathaniel Warden, page 23.

Cocidil dated Feb. 22, 1716/7, page 23. Feb 27, 1717/8, inventory taken by Lieut James Bennet and Richard Hubbell, and filed Feb. 24, 1718, page 23a.

Jan. 26, 1720/ 1, estate ordered distributed by Lieut. James Bennet and Major John Wheeler and Edward Tredwell, according to his will, page 102.

TREDWELL, Timothy, late of Stratfield, inventory taken Dec. 29, 1720, by David Sherman and James Sealy, and filed Feb. 11, 1721/2, by Isreal Chauncey and Deborah Tredwell, administrators, page 130 (continued on page 285).
