SHERMAN, Bezzeliell, late of Stratford, inventory taken Nov. 16, 1717, by Benjamin Sherman and Samuel Peat, mentioned his children Edmon, ae. 6 yrs; Ebenezer, ae. 4 yrs' Bezzeliell, ae. 6 weeks; and Susannah, ae. 9 yrs, and filed Dec. 20, 1717, page 30. Feb. 25, 1718/9, account filed, by his widow Jane Sherman, administratrix, and estate ordered distributed by Benjamin Sherman and Lieut Samuel Pent to his widow and children aforesaid, page 30. Jan. 25, 1719/20, the court appointed his mother, Jane Sherman to be guardian of Edmon, a son of decedent, page 64a.

Nov. 23, 1720, the court appointed Andrew Patterson to be guardian of Ebenezer, a son of decedent, page 64. July 10, 1721, Jane Sherman, widow of decedent, and guardian of her son Edmon, bond canceled and guardian discharged and Daniel Brinsmel appointed in her place, page 122.

June 24, 1721, Susannah Sherman, a daughter of decedent, made choice of Andrew Patterson to be her guardian, page 123.

SHERMAN, Samuel, late of Stratford, Feb. 24, 1718/9, letters of administration on his estate granted to his son Daniel Sherman and John Levansworth, page 43. Inventory taken Aug. 13, 1719, by John Moss and Robert Walker, and filed Aug. 31, 1719, page 67. Aug. 31, 1719, account filed and administrators discharged, page 68.

Oct. 3, 1719, distribution agreement dated, between his heirs and representatives, Viz: Daniel Sention of Norwalk, James Beebe of Danbury: Samuel Bears of Newtown, Daniel Sherman, Daniel Mitchell and Isaac Clark, and filed Feb. 3, 1719/20, page 81.

SHERWOOD, Noah, late of Fairfield, inventory taken Aug. 15, 1734, by Moses Ward and Joseph Banks, and filed Jan. 1734/5, by Phebe Sherwood, administratrix, page 289.

SHERWOOD, Samuel, Captain, late of Stratfield, will dated Nov. 7, 1732, probated Dec. 11, 1732, mentioned his wife Mary, and children, Sarah, Mary, Abigail, Rebecca, Esther, Prudence, John, Nathaniel, Thomas, and (continued on page 280).
