GARNSEY, Joseph, late of Stamford, inventory taken Nov. 18, 1709, by Elisha Holly, John Knap, and Edmon Lockwood, and filed Jan 29, 1716/7, verified by his widow Mary Garnsey, and mentioned his children, Mary, ae. 16 yrs: Joseph, ae. 14 yrs: John, ae. 12 yrs: Moses, ae. 10 yrs: Jonathan, ae. 8 yrs: Hannah, ae. 7 yrs: Deborah, ae. 5 yrs: and Susannah, ae. 2 yrs: page 9b. Jan. 29, 1716/7, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Ensign Joseph Webb and John Scofield to his widow and children, page 9b. Jan. 29, 1716, 7, the court appointed Mary Garnsey, their mother, guardian of Deborah and Susannah, children of decedent: John, Jonathan, and Hannah, other children of decedent, made choice of their mother Mary Garnsey, to be their guardian, page 9b.


GILBERT, John, late of Stratford, June 2, 1719, Jonathan Gilbert, guardian of John Gilbert, a son of decedent, removed, and Jonathan Stiles appointed in his place, page 61. Nov. 16, 1720, on the application of Jonathan Stiles of Stratford, guardian of John Gilbert, a son of decedent, who is now deceased, that part of his estate which fell to him from his father's estate ordered distributed by Captain John Hawley and Ensign Abraham Wooster to the surviving brothers and sister of said deceased son, viz: Thomas Gilbert, Josiah Gilbert, and Sarah Gilbert, page 44a.

GOLD, John, late of Stamford, Feb. 7, 1722/3, letters of administration on his estate granted to Jonathan Gold and Hannah gold, page 144. Inventory taken of Mch. 27, 1720/1, by Jonathan Hait, and John Waterbury, and filed Feb. 7, 1722/3, page 144. Feb. 7, 1722/3, account filed and estate ordered distributed to his widow Hannah Gold, and children, John, Munsen, Sarah, and Hannah gold, page 145. Feb. 7, 1722/3, John a son of decedent, made choice of his mother, Hannah Gold to be his guardian, page 145.
