FOUNTAIN, James, late of Greenwich, Dec. 13, 1711, letters of administration granted to Samuel Peck of Greenwich and Alexander Russegue of Norwalk, now of Ridgefield, and on Jan. 7, 1724/5, Robert Smith of Norwalk, who married Judith, one of the daughters of decedent, asked for her portion of said estate, page 166.


FRENCH, Samuel, Sergeant, late of Stratfield, will dated Dec. 22, 1732, probated Jan. 16, 1732/3, mentioned his wife Abigail, and children Samuel, Gemaliel, Deborah Weed, Abigail Bennit, Elizabeth Slater, Thankful Taylor, Martha French, Sarah Hallit, and Ebeneazer. Executors his sons Samuel and Gemaliel. Witnesses Daniel Beardsle, Joseph Booth, and Samuel Cooke, page 192. Inventory taken Jan. 23, 1732/3, by Joseph Booth, and Daniel Hubbell, and filed 1st Tuesday of May, 1733, page 204.


FROST, Daniel, late of Fairfield, Mch. 6, 1717/8, William a son of decedent, made choice of his father in law, Moses Jackson, to be his guardian, page 47.


GAINES, Joseph, late of Stratford, distribution agreement dated Mch. 25, 1718, filed Apl. 5, 1720, between Thomas Harvey and Martha Harvey, both of Fairfield, Samuel Peat, Jr., of Stratford, and Abigail his wife a sister of said Thomas Harvey and Martha Harvey, uncles and aunts of said decent. Witnesses Nathan gold and Onesimus Gold, page 66.
