STILES, Ephraim, late of Stratford, will dated July 23, 1712, probated June 30, 1714, mentioned his wife Bathsheba, devise to his daughter Elizabeth Curtiss for life, and remainder to her sons Stiles Curtiss, and Ephraim Curtiss, daughters Sarah Wells and Phebe Stiles, No executor. Witnesses Jacob Walker, Abraham Wooster and Mary Wooster, page 294.

Inventory taken Sept. 2, 1714, by Abraham Wooster and Zachariah Blackman, and filed Oct. 6, 1714, page 294b.


STRATON, Cornelius, late of Long Island, Dec. 6, 1710, the court appointed Samuel Hull of Fairfield an uncle, to be guardian of Samuel, a son of decedent, another son, no name, page 391.


STREET, Ebenezer, of Norwalk, July 3, 1750, made choice of his mother Mary Street of Norwalk to be his guardian, page 358.


STRONG, Benajah, late of Fairfield, June 2, 1714, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Sarah Strong, Captain David Sherman and Ephraim Strong, page 374.

June 2, 1714, the court appointed Adine Strong of Woodbury, guardian of Mehetable Strong, a daughter of decedent, page 374.

Inventory taken June 3, 1714, by John Thompson and Joseph Phipen, and filed Oct. 6, 1714, page 304.


STURGIS, Jonathan, late of Fairfield, will dated Sept. 5, 1711, probated June 3, 1713, mentioned his wife Sarah and Children Jonathan, Peter, David, Sarah, Abigaill, and Uniss, and empowered his brother John Sturgis, Major Peter Burr, and Captain Moses Dimon to divide his estate. Executors his wife Sarah Sturgis and son Jonathan. Witnesses Peter Burr, and Richard Lyon, page 258.
