SMITH, Nathaniel, of Stamford, Apl. 2, 1712, made choice of his brother Ebeneazer smith to be his guardian, page 387.


SMITH, Samuel, late of Fairfield, Jan. 31, 1711/2, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Deborah smith, page 202. Inventory taken Mch. 27, 1712, by Joseph Sturgis and Gideon Allen, and filed Apl 2, 1712, page 202a.

Feb. 6, 1711/2, letters of administration also granted to John Smith, a brother in law of the Administrator, page 216.

Dec. 1, 1714, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by ensign Gideon Allen and Jonathan Sturgis to his widow and children, six daughters, no names, page 294.

July 19, 1716, Deborah smith and Rebeckah smith, daughters of decedent, made choice of their father in law, Thomas Bayley, to be their guardian; and the court appointed said Thomas Bayley guardian of Sarah, Esther, and Hellinah, other daughters of decedent, page 366.

July 30, 1716, Thomas Bayley removed as guardian of Deborah smith, and Robert Jackson appointed in his place, page 345.

July 19, 1716, Sergeant John Smith and Deborah smith, administrators discharged, and Thomas Bayley appointed in their place, page 366.


SQUIRE, Samuel, late of Fairfield, will dated Oct. 23, 1711, probated Dec. 5, 1711, mentioned his wife Sarah, and children, Joseph, John, Samuel, Sarah and Rebeckah.

Executors his wife Sarah, and son Joseph. witnesses John Thompson and Joseph Thompson, page 186.

Inventory taken Dec. 3, 1711, by John Thompson and Philip Lewis, and filed Dec. 5, 1711, page 186a.

Apl. 6, 1715, Rebeckah Squire, a daughter of decedent, the court appointed her brother Samuel Squire to be her guardian, page 370.
