SKEEL, Thomas, Sergeant, late of Woodbury, died July 30, 1709, and inventory taken Feb. 26, 1710, by Titus Hinman and John Skeel, mentioned his father John Skeel, brother John Skeel, sister Hannah Hekok, sister Elizabeth Smith, and sister Abegaile Barnum, and filed Dec. 6, 1710, page 174.

Dec. 4, 1710, estate ordered distributed by John Skeel, father of decedent, and Lieut. Titus Hinman to his brothers and sisters aforesaid, page 174.


SKILDIN (SKELDING), Thomas, late of Stamford, Mch. 4, 1713/14, the court appointed John Austin of Stamford guardian of Thomas, a son of decedent, page 375.


SLOSON, Eleazer, late of Stamford, will dated Apl. 29, 1698, probated Jan. 22, 1699/00, mentioned his wife Susannah and children Eleazer, Martha, James, Ebeneazer, Nathaniel, and Susannah. Executor his son James, with the assistance of his uncle John Sloson and David Waterbury, overseers. Witnesses John Sloson and Steven Bishop, page 56.

Inventory taken May 27, 1698, by Abraham Ambler, Daniel Scofield, and David Waterbury, and filed Jan. 22, 1699/00, page 58.


SLOSON, John, late of Stamford, Nov. 8, 1707, letters of administration on his estate granted to John Sloson and Jonathan Sloson, page 104.

Inventory taken Nov. 29, 1706, by Joseph bishop, Daniel Scofield and Jonathan Bell, verified by Hannah Sloson, widow of decedent, and filed Nov. 8, 1707, page 104.

Distribution agreement dated Jan. 11, 1706/7, between his children John, Thomas, Sarah wife of Ebeneazer Bishop, Elizabeth wife of Nathaniel Pond, and Mary Sloson. Witnesses Jonathan Sellick, Jr., and Steven Holmes, page 103.
