PEAT, Benjamin, Sr., late of Stratford, will dated Apl. 14, 1704, probated July 12, 1704, mentioned his wife Phebe, and children Benjamin, Samuel, and Mary Burritt, who have had their portions. Executors his wife, Thomas Wells, and Benjamin Curtis. Witnesses John Clark, Thomas Wells, and Jacob Walker, page 32.

PEAT, John, late of Stratford, Mch. 14, 1709/10. letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Mary Peat, page 166.

Inventory taken Mch. 14, 1709/10, by Andrew Patterson and Samuel Peat, mentioned his wife Mary, and children Joseph, ae. 13 yr last day of July; David, ae. 11 yr last day of June; Sarah, ae. 9 yr 4th last June; Daniel, se. 1 yr 30th this Mch; Mary, ae. 7 yr 2nd last Dec; Hannah, ae. 5 yr 22 last Dec; and John ae. 3 yr 23rd next Apl; and filed Mch. 14, 1709/10, page 166.

Mch. 9, 1718/19, account filed, by his widow Mary, now wife of John Oerbitt, administratrix, and estate ordered distributed to his widow and children aforesaid, page 171.

Feb. 25, 1712/13, the court appointed Mary Corbitt guardian of her children the aforesaid Sarah, John, Mary, Dinah and Hannah; Joseph and David, sons of decedent, made choice of their mother Mary Corbitt, wife of John Corbitt, to be their guardian, page 382.


PERRY, Arthur, late of Stratford, Nov. 1, 1710, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Annah and son will Perry, page 174a.

Inventory taken, Apl. 14, 1709, by Ephraim Stiles and John Coe, and filed Nov. 1, 1710, page 174.

Dec. 6, 1710, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Ephraim Stiles and Abraham Wooster to his Widow Annah Perry, and eight sons and four daughters, Viz: William, Samuel, Annah, Elizabeth, Josiah, who was under age, and the court appointed his mother to be his guardian; Daniel made choice of Sergeant Abraham Wooster to be his guardian, page 174.
