KNOWLES, Thomas, Lieut, late of Stratford, Will dated Nov. 12, 1705, probated Dec. 4, 1705, mentioned his wife Mary, who has all the estate for life, and remainder to cousin Isack Knowles, a son of my brother Eliazer Knowles of Woodbury, and if he dies before attaining age of 21 yrs, then to the second son of the aforesaid Eliazer Knowles. Executrix his wife Mary Knowles. Witnesses Joseph Curtis, Jacob Walker, and Elizabeth Basset, page 75.

Nov. 15, 1705, codicil dated, the Salt Meadow I bought of Benjamin Nicoles, I give to the eldest son of said Benjamin Nicoles. witnesses Joseph Curtis and Nathaniel Beach, page 75.

LEE, Noah, late of Norwalk, May 2, 1749, letters of administration on his estate granted to Enos Lee; and Captain Samuel Cluckstone and Ralph Isaacs were appointed commissioners to adjust claims of creditors, Viz: Captain Josiah Thacther, Samuel Olmsted, Isaac Brown, Robert Watson, Phebe Lee, Samuel Cluckstone, Haynes Hanford, John Betts, David Bouton, Joseph Lockwood, Captain Jarvis Enos, and Seth Marvin, page 353.
