HOLMES, Richard, blacksmith, late of Norwalk, will dated Oct. 31, 1704, probated Jan. 2, 1704/05, all to his wife Sarah for life, and remainder to Mehitabell Warner, near kinswomen to my wife now living with us., except some small legacies to go to Jonathan Stevenson, a son of Jonathan Stevenson, deceased, who was my servant, legacies to Samuel Hayes, Sr., of Norwalk, Thomas Bouton and Richard Bouton, the youngest sons of John Bouton, Sr of Norwalk, and to the daughters of my brother John Holms, Sr., of Bedford, and Steven Holms, Sr of Stamford, my blacksmith tools.
