HICKS, Mary, Mrs., late of Cornberry Neck on the Island of Nassau, Queens County, Province of New York, wife of Thomas Hicks, inventory taken of Property at Stratford Mch. 7, 1712/13, by Joseph Curtiss and James Judson, and filed Mch. 9, 1712/13, page 247.

Mch. 9, 1712/13, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Joseph Curtiss and Captain James Judson to her children Thomas Hicks, John Hicks, Jacob Hicks, Phebe Hicks, Mary Hicks, Sarah hicks, and Elizabeth Hicks, and grandson John Washbon, page 247.

HIDE, Elizabeth, late of Fairfield, will dated June 9, 1701, probated Nov. 18, 1703, mentioned her children Elizabeth Jesup, Sarah Fanton, Mary Rumsey, and John Hide, and grandson the eldest son of her son John. Executor son John Hide. page 53.

Nov. 18, 1703, John Hide refused to qualify, and letters of administration granted to John Hide and Benjamin Rumsey, page 53.

Dec. 4, 1706, account filed, and administrators discharged, page 53.


HIDE, John, Sr., late of Fairfield, recites agreement between his widow and children dated Mch. 18, 1692, and on Jan. 7, 1696, Benjamin Rumsey, Jonathan Fanton and Edward Jessup acknowledged the receipt of their share from John Hide. Witnesses Josiah Harvey and John Bradly, page 78.


HILL, Thomas, late of Fairfield, Mch. 6, 1710, Thomas, a son of decedent, made choice of his uncle Robert Rumsey to be his guardian, page 389.


HILLYER, Nathaniel, late of Danbury, will dated Oct 30, 1709, died Oct 31, 1709, probated Nov. 7, 1709, all to his four brothers Wakefull Dible, Ebeneazer Dible, James Hillyer and Andrew Hillyer, and sister Elizabeth Palmer. Executor his father James Hillyer. Witnesses John Raimond and John Platt, page 160.
