GORHAM, Joseph, late of Stratford, July 2, 1750, letters of administration on his estate granted to George Gorham of Stratford, page 358.


GRAY, Henry, Jr., late of Compow, died May 29, 1713, and on June 13, 1713, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Elizabeth Bray, page 260.

Inventory taken June 12, 1713, by John Andrus and Thomas Nash, had land on Cowpow Hill given after the death of his father, mentioned his widow Elizabeth, and children Benjamin, born Apl. 28, 1707 and Elizabeth born May 21, 1711, and filed June 13, 1713, page 260.

Oct. 5, 1715, Elizabeth Gray appointed guardian of Benjamin, a son of decedent, and Thomas Disbrow went on her bond, said Elizabeth Gray being called mother in law (probably step mother) of said minor, page 369.


GRAY, Jacob, Sr., late of Fairfield, Mch. 13, 1711/12, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Sarah Gray and son Jacob Gray, pages 198a. and 387.

Mch. 29, 1712, Isaac Jennings, a son in law, of Fairfield, released his brother in law, Jacob Gray, from all claims. witnesses Charles Lans and Jacob Henning, page 198a.

Mch. 28, 1712, Samuel Umberfield, a son in law, of New Haven, released his brother in law, Jacob Gray, from all claims. Witnesses Peter Burr and Isaac Jennings, page 198a.
