Mch. 9, 1696/7, proceedings show decedent left three sons and two daughters, Viz: William, Nathan, Sarah, Margery, and Joseph; Margery made choice of Benjamin Green to be her guardian, page 59.

CLEMENS, William, late of Stamford, Nov. 24, 1702, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Elizabeth Clemens, page 6.

CLOSE, Thomas, Jr., late of Greenwich, son of Thomas Close, Oct. 28, 1707, letters of administration on his estate granted to his father Thomas Close, Sr., Joseph Close, and Caleb Knapp, pages 119, 124, and 395.

Inventory taken Oct. 30, 1707, by Stephen Holmes and John Reynolds, mentioned his children Sarah, born Nov. 9, 1703; Hannah, born Mch. 29, 1706; and Thomas, born Nov. 28, 1706/7; and filed Mch. 28, 1708, pages 119 and 124.

Nov. 27, 1708, the court appointed Joseph Close to be guardian of the aforesaid children, page 124.

CLOSE, Thomas, Sr., late of Greenwich, will dated Dec. 30, 1708, probated Dec. 7, 1709, mentioned his wife Sarah, and children Sarah, Hannah, Joseph, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Ruth, John, Lidea, and three children of Thomas a deceased son. Executors his wife Sarah, and son Joseph. Witnesses Joseph Morgan and Sarah Morgan, page 150.
