BOOTH, Nathan, late of Stratford, Sept. 6, 1714, letters of administration on his estate granted to his brothers James Booth and Joseph Booth of Stratford, page 374.

Inventory taken Oct. 26, 1714, by Samuel Sherman and John Hawley and filed Nov. 3, 1714, page 303.

Feb. 2, 1714/15, account filed, and estate ordered distributed to his five brothers and one sister, Viz; Joseph, James, Robert, Zachariah, David and Hannah Booth, page 304.


BOUTON, John, late of Danbury, died Jan. 3, 1704/5, and on Mch. 14, 1704/5, letters of Administration on his estate granted to his sons John Bouton and Mathew Bouton of Danbury, page 71.

Inventory taken Jan. 18, 1704/5, by Seth Shaw and James Bebe, mentioned the 5th division of Meadow purchased by Josiah Starr; fifth division purchased by Samuel Wood, Fifth division purchased by Mathew Bouton; land next to Mr. Shaw, and land purchased of Daniel Benedick; mentioned his children John, eldest son married, Sarah of age; Abegaile, ae. 16 yrs; Mary, ae. 12 yrs; Nathaniel, ae. 10 yrs, and Eliaser ae. about 3 1/2 yrs; and filed Mch 14, 1704/5, page 71.

Dec. 21, 1705, account filed and estate ordered distributed by Josiah Starr and Daniel Benedick, and assisted by Mr. Beebe, to his six children and aforesaid page 74.

Nov. 1706, the court appointed Mathais Sension of Norwalk to be guardian of Nathaniel, a son of decedent; and Mary a daughter of decedent, made choice of James Haies to be her guardian, page 394.


BOWTON, John, Sr., late of Norwalk, will dated Dec. 25, 1706, probated Jan. 27, 1704/5, mentioned his wife Mary, and children, Mathew; Joseph, who was devised land next to Ebenezer Canfield; Rachel Sension, Abegaile Smith, Hannah Betts, Thomas; Elizabeth Warren; Richard and Mary Bowton; and grandchildren John Bowton of Danbury.

Executors his son Joseph and wife Mary. Witnesses William Haines and Joseph Gregory, Sr., Mathew Sension, Edmon Waren, and James Betts, sons in law.
