OGDEN, Richard, late of Fairfield, Mch. 27, 1698, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Sarah Ogden, page 156.

Inventory taken Jan. 26, 1697/8, by Philip Lewis, John Thompson and John Edwards, mentioned his widow Sarah Ogden, had land at Toilson, Sacco Neck, that he bought of Sherwood, and Grist Mill, and filed Mch. 27, 1698, page 156.

1700, account filed, and estate ordered distributed to his widow and five children, three sons and two daughters, page 219.

1701, Richard, a son of decedent, made choice of Samuel Cobitt to be his guardian; Sarah, a daughter of deceased, made choice of Peter Bur to be her guardian; and the court appointed Thomas Staples, father in law (stepfather) of Jonathan Ogden and Mary Ogden, other children of deceased, to be their guardian, page 219.

OSBURNE, John, Feb. 17, 1672, bought property that was granted to Peter Coley and Thomas Sherwood, Sr., and other property from different owners, pages 41, 42 and 43.

PEAT, John, late of Stratford, Mch. 18, 1691, Samuel, son of Deceased, released his mother, Sarah Brooks, the widow of deceased, in full for the payment of all legacies. Witnesses Joseph Curtiss and Robert Bassit. Page 35.

Mch. 15, 1688, Hannah peat, a daughter of deceased, over 18 yrs, made same release. Witnesses Isreal Chancy, John Osborn and William Curtiss, page 35.

Feb. 17, 1690/1, Elizabeth Peat, a daughter of deceased, Over 18 yrs, released her father in law, John Brooks, the husband of her mother, Sarah Brooks, in full for the payment of all legacies. Witnesses Joseph Curtiss and William Curtiss, page 35.

Jan. 19, 1687, Sarah Peat, a daughter of deceased, over 18 yrs, released her mother Sarah Brooks, the widow of deceased, in full for the payment of all legacies. Witnesses William Curtiss, Isreal Chancy and Benjamin peat, page 35.
