FINCH, Samuel, Sr., late of Stamford, Nov. 3, 1698, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Sarah Finch with the advice of Abraham Ambler, and Samuel Hait. page 154.
The decedent during his lifetime made four deeds of gift, all dated Sept. 28, 1697, and witnessed by Abraham Ambler and Samuel Hait, viz: to his son Samuel, House and lands at Stamford; to his wife Sarah: to his son Joseph: to his four daughters, Sarah Holly, Martha Mead, Susannah Seely, and Rachel Finch, page 153.
