BEERS, Martha, ( Continued from page 84), Apl. 26, 1698, the court being of the opinion that there was somethine due the children of Joseph Beers, deceased, out of what the deceased Martha Beers hath by virtue of the will of her deceased husband, James Beers, Sr., appointed John Barlow to assist in the administration of the estate, page 165.

BELL, Jonathan, Captain, (Died Mch. 11, 1698/97), late of Stamford, will dated Nov. 24, 1698, probated Sept. 14, 1699, mentioned his wife Susannah, and children, eldest son Jonathan, who has received a large estate from his grandfather, and also given land at shiphand by testator; Hannah Betts; Abraham, devised land at Norroton Hill, and other lands, and also one half of testators tanyard; John Mercy, Susannah, and Mary. Executrix his wife Susannah. Witnesses John Allin, Hannah Jones, and Mrs Hannah Falkener, page 193.

BENNEDICK (BENEDICT), Thomas, Sr., Late of Norwalk, will dated Feb. 28, 1689/90, probated Mch. 9, 1691, ae. 75 yrs., mentioned his wife Mary, and children Daniel, John, James, Sarah, and Rebecca; grandchildren Thomas Slauson (SLAWSON), a son of my daughter Elizabeth Slauson, Thomas Benedick, Samuel Benedick, John Benedick, Joanna Benedick, Mary Olmsted, and Hannah Benedick, Overseers his sons John and Samuel. witnesses Thomas Hanford and John Platt, page 38.
