Inventory taken Mch. 8, 1689/90, by Ephraim Nicoles and Eliphalet Hill, mentioned his widow, and children John, ae. 26 yrs: Thomas, ae. 21 yrs; Joseph, ae. 16 yrs: Jonathan, ae. 3 yrs; David, ae. 1 yr.; Obediah, ae. 8 yrs; Elizabeth, ae. 23 yrs; Judan, ae. 20 yrs; Mary, ae. 19 yrs; Rebecca, ae. 18 yrs; Hannah, ae. 14 yrs; Abigail, ae, 10 yrs; and Ann, ae 6 yrs, and filed Apl. 5, 1690, page 303.
Nov. 1, 1698, estate orders distributed to his widow and twelve children, one son died last winter, page 204.

Inventory taken May 1682, by Jehu Burr, Esbon Wakeman and Mathew Sherwood, and filed Nov. 7, 1682. page 123.
Nov. 7, 1683, estate ordered distributed to his widow, and children Sarah, Rebecca and Joseph, page 124.

WHELPLY, Nathan, (mariner), late of Stratford, Aug. 10, 1687, the court appointed George Knifton and Rebecca Whelpy, administrators, and on their refusal to qualify, letters of administration on his estate granted to Joseph Hawly, Richard Blackleach, and Daniel Burr, page 288.
Inventory taken Aug. 8, 1687, by Samuel Sherman, Robert Lane, and James Judson, and filed Aug. 10, 1687, page 227.
Richard Blackleach of Stamford, ae. about 33 yrs, testified that he was on the Island of Barbadoes on the 18th day of October last when Nathan Whelply, Master of the Bark "Leral" of Stratford, who in his presence disposed of his property as follows: his house at New Haven to his cousin Samuel Knifton, his sister's son, and the rest of his property to be divided between his relations in New England; John Prior, mate of the above Bark, ae. about 28 yrs, confirmed the above, page 227.
