PETTIT, John, (continued from page 61), choice of Abraham Ambler to be her Guardian and John, a son of decedent made choice of Daniel Scofield to be his guardian, and the court appointed said Abraham Ambler and Daniel Scofield guardians of the three other children, of decedent, page 148.

PICKET, John Sr., late of Stratford, will dated July 26, 1684, probated Apl. 17, 1684/5, mentioned his children Daniel, John, James, Thomas, Sarah, Abigail wife of Thomas Picket, and Rebecca Sention; grandsons John, a son of John and John a son of James, legacy to John law, (probably a grandson), and grandson, a son of Thomas. Executors his sons, John and Daniel. Overseers Isreal Chancy, Deacon Timothy Wilcockson, and Sergeant Jehiell Preston. Witnesses Daniel Mitchell and Isaac Knell, page 126.

PLAISTED, Roger, Aug. 2, 1683, John Plaisted in his own behalf, and in behalf of his brothers and sisters, discharges Robert Beecham of Fairfield from all demands of the estate of Roger Plaisted. Witnesses William Hill, Sr, and John Banks, page 308.

PORTER, Elizabeth, widow, late of Stratford, Mch. 11, 1683, letters of administration on her estate granted to Captain Hales, Nicholas Camp, Sergeant Jehill Preston, and John Birdsey, Jr., page 120.
