KNOWLES, John, late of Fairfield, Mch. 10, 1684/5, account filed, stated that John Cabel left a legacy to his grandson John Knowles, who is now deceased, a son of the aforesaid John Knowles, deceased, and estate ordered distributed to the surviving daughters of the aforesaid John Knowles, deceased, Viz: Sara, Elizabeth, and Rebecca, page 175.
Mch. 10, 1684/5, Sarah Knowles made choice of John Burr to be her guardian, page 176.

LANE, Charles, Oct. 17, 1686, convicted of being drunk and striking Thomas Williams. He had been imprisoned before for contemptuous carriage, page 199.
Jan. 9, 1684/7, fined for being drunk, second offense, page 214.

LEVENSWORTH, Thomas, late of Woodbury, inventory taken Aug. 20, 1683, by John Minor, Joseph Judson, Caleb Nichols, John Wyet, and Samuel Stiles, and filed Nov. 6, 1683, page 138.
Nov. 6, 1683, estate ordered distributed to his widow, two sons and one daughter, no names, Overseers Lieut. Judson and Mr. Minor, page 138.

LOCKWOOD, Edmun, Mch. 10, 1684/5, freed from trayning, page 167.

LOCKWOOD, Ephraim, late of Norwalk, will dated Jan. 13, 1685, ae, about 43 yrs, probated Nov. 6, 1685, mentioned his wife Mercy, and children Ephraim, Daniel, John, Eliphalet, Joseph, James, who had a portion on his Uncle's estate, and Sarah, and so-called brother Samuel Sention. Executors his wife Mercy and son Jonn. Overseers Marke Sention and John Fitch. Witnesses Samuel Hayes and Samuel Belden, page 185.
