CABEL, John, Sr., late of Fairfield, will dated Apl. 4, 1682, probated Sept. 21, 1682, mentioned his wife Ann and daughter Rebecca, grandchildren John Cabel and John Knowles. Executrix his wife. Overseers Kinsman Jehu Burr and John Burr. Witnesses Ezbon Wakeman and John Banks, page 81.
Inventory taken Sept. 21, 1682, by John Banks and Moses Dimon, Francis Bradley, and Cor. Sely owed the estate, and filed Sept. 21, 1682, page 81.
Mch. 13, 1684/5, John Cabel, a grandson of testator, says his grandfather gave unto him all his lands in Fairfield, estate settled, and now of age released John Burr, administrator, of said estate for the payment of legacy to him, and also released any right to the estate of his father. John Cabel, deceased because the legacy left by my grandfather was on the condition that I should inherit with the other brothers and sisters, but that my brother Joseph should inherit my father's land, page 176.

CLARK, Sarah, late of Stratford, wife of Robert Clark, will dated June 5, 1677, died Feb. 2, 1682, probated Mch. 13, 1682, mentioned her children Samuel Stiles, Ephraim Stiles, Benjamin Stiles, and Thomas Stiles, children of her daughter Hannah wife of Titus Hilman, Children of her daughter Mary Washburne, grandchildren Sarah, Hannah, and Mary Blackman, legacies to her sister's children, her sister Mary Everts at Gilford, and Zachary Walker.
