PELL, John, son of Dr. John Pell of London, and nephew to Thomas Pell, deceased, Dec. 6, 1670, came to Hartford and received endorsement from Govenor and Assistants, signed by John Allin, Secretary, page 49.

PELL,
Thomas, late of______, will dated Sept. 21, 1669 probated Sept. 30, 1669, his wife Lucy predeceased him, no children, estate devised to his nephew John Pell, living in England, the only son of only brother John Pell D. D., by his first wife, all his estate in New England is in the territories of the Duke of York. If his nephew John Pell dies without issue, then the estate is to go to his nieces, the daughters of his brother John Pell, D.D., Legacies to Abigail wife of Daniel Burr, Daniel Burr, " to my son Finch ", Nathaniel Finch, Elizabeth White, Mary White, Nathaniel White, Barbery, a servant, her freedom and Katheran Roystin, his ancient maid, Releases Joseph Parthim, James Everts, Thomas Basset, Roger Knap from their indebtedness to him.

Inventory taken by William Hill, Jehu Burr, and Nathaniel Sely, and filed Jan. 14, 1669, page 42.

PORTER,
Jonathan, late of Huntington, devised his property to his wife Eunis. If she married then the property was to go to their three daughters. She married Giles Smith, and in 1670, the devisees of the testator released the executor of the estate of of Giles Smith, the money having been paid. Signed by James Chichester, Edward Hornett, and Steven Jarvis. Witnesses John Finch and Thomas Brush, page 52.

Jonathan, late of Greenwich, inventory taken Jan. 23, 1673, by Angie Husted and Joshua Knapp, and filed Mch. 10, 1673/4, mentioned his widow____, and children Jonathan, ae about 13yrs; John ae. about 13yrs; Joseph ae about 4 1/4 yrs; Rebecca, ae about 14yrs; Sarah ae. about 8 yrs; on 6th last Nov.; Elizabeth, ae. about 6 years on last Aug., page 75.
