KNOWLES, John, late of Fairfield, ( grandson of John Cable), will dated Nov. 1, 1673, probated Dec 18, 1673, mentioned his children John, Joshua, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Rebecca, Joshua a brother of testator was brought up by him as a child, legacies to Elizabeth Rogers, sister and John Loom a friend. Overseers Joshua Knowles, John burr and John Burr. Witnesses John Loom, page 71.
Inventory taken Dec. 8, 1673, by Thomas Skidmore, Eabon Wakeman, and William Ward, and filed Dec. 10, 1673, page 71.

John, late of _____< died 1642, inventory taken Dec. 24, 1665, by Richard Newman and Robert Usher, and appraisement by George Slawson and John Holly, and filed Nov. 6, 1666, and estate ordered distributed to his widow_____, who married Obadiah Sely, and in 1666 called the widow Sely, and children John, Joseph, and Jonathan, page 13.
