HALE COLLECTION

NOTE: There seems to be two cemeteries called “Fairmon” in Killingly, Ct.
there were two separate entries in the Hale Headstone data.

FIRST ENTRY:

Headstones at the “Fairmon Cemetery” in Killingly, Ct., located on Cherry Farm, south of South Killingly.

Fairmon, Almira, wife of Harvey, died June 25, 1859, age 56
Fairmon, Philinda, daughter of Daniel & Susannah, died Oct. 4, 1841, age 42
Fairmon, Susannah, daughter of Daniel & Susannah, died Mar. 20, 1838, age 32

Grover, Alvah, died Nov. 25, 1855, age 65
Grover, Polly, wife of Alvah, died July 26, 1860, age 61

Dozen or more field stones, very badly grown up to scrub trees and brush

Straight in at end of stone wall; follow wall up the hill

Fairmon, Fila, daughter of Daniel & Susan, died Oct. 19, 1792, age 7 yrs 6 mos
Fairmon, James, died Feb. 27, 1807, age 71 yrs
Fairmon, Jesse, son of Aleaser & Abigail, died Sept. 29, 1813, age 22 yrs
Fairmon, John, French-Indian War, Capt. Harris’ Co., died Mar. 22, 1778, age 68 yrs
Fairmon, Joseph, son of Roswell & Dorcas, died Sept. 15, 1789, age 5 yrs

Fairmon, Lydia, daughter of Aleaser & Abigail, died Aug. 2, 1892, age 4 yrs
