MEAD, Hannah, widow, late of Norwalk, verbal will dated June 16, 1746, probated Oct. 7, 1746, legacies to her children Hannah, Phebe, Sarah, and Thomas, eldest son, probed by David Keeler and David Whlpley, Letters of administration granted to Daniel St. John, Jr., and Nehemiah Mead, page 368. Inventory taken Oct 23, 1746, by Moses Comstock and David Keeler, and filed Jan. 6, 1746/7, page 378.


MEAD, Jeremiah, late of Norwalk, will dated Dec. 3, 1741, probated Mch. 16, 1741/2, mentioned his wife Hannah, and children Thaddeus, Stephen, Jeremiah, Matthew, Hannah, Phebe, and Sarah, all minors. Owned land in Greenwich and Norwalk. Executors brother in law Daniel St. John Jr., and brother Nehemiah Mead, both of Norwalk. Witnesses Mathew Gregory, Jr., Nathan Comstock, and Theophilus Mead, page 112. Inventory taken Jan. 25, 1741/2, by Moses Comstock and Theophilus Mead, and filed Mch. 16, 1741/2, page 115.


MESSENGER, Rachael, late of Norwalk, widow of Andrew messenger, will dated Apl. 17, 1738, probated Sept. 2, 1740, mentioned her cousin Thomas Hayes, brother Samuel Hayes, brother James, and John, Nathaniel, and Eleazer Boughtens. Executors brothers James and Samuel Fitch. Witnesses Samuel Comstock, Thomas Fitch and Nehemiah Rogers, page 21. Inventory taken Sept. 4, 1740, by John Marvin and Nehemiah Smith, and filed June 2, 1741, page 23.
