I have a copy of The Gilbert Family, Descendants of Thomas Gilbert, 1582-1659. It contains information on Thomas Gilbert (b. England, 1582,d. Nayaug, CT. Sept. 1659),7 of his children and their descendants. The earlier generations are almost all in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Will do look ups from the North American Vital Records Index. This index is a partial collection of b, ch, and m, records of the US and CAN. These records cover approx 257 years and about 4 million names from1631 to 1888.

Friday, 29 June 2012 Ted Brooks   I have compiled the genealogy of the "The Genealogy Of John Durgy and Hannah Conover of New Fairfield, Fairfield, Connecticut." Although the material I gathered relates to the Durgy (or Durgey, or Durga) family, there is likely to be information there of interest to others. I will be happy to do lookups for you.
