Feb 3, 1997-- Vicki Titus-- I am looking for information on a Satterlee family that might have been in the area, and one Satterly in particular - a Nancy Satterlee who married Stephen Titus circa 1800-1810. Stephen was born 1781. His father was John Titus. His mother is undocumented, but could be Lucy Blackman b. in Lebanon CT in 1755 to Elisha and Lucy Blackman. april 1997 -- Mary Celine Scott --GATES, Jacob and Peggy STEWART. May 12, 1997 -- Jessie Hagan --I am trying to find information on Moses ROBBINS and his sons. In his will, Moses says he has five sons, he only names three, Samuel, Lorin and Gilmore. I think the other two are Brintnal and Moses Jr. Samuel, Lorin, Gilmore and Brintnal all served in the Revlutionary War. I work at the Sons of the American Revolution. We have an applicant applying for membership based on Moses Sr. who was born around 1717. Since Moses Jr. did not marry until 1794,(A second marriage???) we are not sure if he was old enough to serve in the war with his brothers. The TRACY family was also from Preston; Thomas TRACY was born there about 1644.
