John Green was in Stamford by 1654. He lived on the north side of East Street, which is now East Main Street. However, that section of Main Street no longer exists and is now occupied by the Landmark Square building complex and the Stamford Town Center mall. John Green moved to Bedford but his sons Joseph and Benjamin returned to Stamford.
